Some points to possibly note in your letter:

  •    You support keeping the original Canada Olympic Park and Adjacent Lands Area Structure Plan (ASP) as it was originally approved, based on a Nordic Village concept.
  • The outline plan must conform to the original ASP.

  • Any proposed changes to the Area Structure Plan require another open house by the City of Calgary with full disclosure, including potential impacts to the environmental, traffic, and environmental reserve lands.

  • The large “natural area” (Site 8) should be maintained as park under the designation S-UN (Special Purpose – Urban Nature District), not Direct Control (DC).
