| Our next casino is scheduled at Casino Calgary on March 31 and April 1st. We need volunteers (no prior experience or special skills required) and still need some additional people to work at it.The volunteer commitment for the casino is a minimum of 18 people per day - divided into two shifts each day. If you can help please call Hugh Magill at 298-6501 during the day or 286-6269 in the evening or email me back at HUGH.B.MAGILL@huskyenergy.ca or magillh@shaw.ca |

| The moneys raised from this casino will be used entirely to secure professional assistance in the preparation of a business plan for the First Nations Cultural Village or Interpretive Centre . This is the same plan we have been proposing to Canada Olympic Park as part of their Development Plan. A professional business plan is very costly but will be an invaluable tool in generating interest and securing partners for the project. | ||
| Here are the results from the Alitalia survey? 92% in favor of the First Nations Cultural Village with 50 votes cast. Thank you to all who participated, and enjoyed the pizza. | ||
| Pictured below is an on-line version of the P.S.P.S brochure. In it there is a wealth of information which indicates just how very important it is that the overall integrity of the slopes be maintained. They are our history, our culture and our future. We must be vigilant as the custodians of this planet and insist that these areas be maintained. A tribute to our First Nation heritage can co-exist with CODA to give Calgary a very unique look at the past, and our future. | ||
| This brochure highlights what we are asking of CODA. If you support these requests please contact CODA and let them know you would like their plans to incorporate the First Nations Cultural Village | ||

| June
9, 2003-See the photos
showing the extent of damage and erosion caused by the sewer lines from
Cougar Ridge having failed already. This is further proof that engineering
assurances of stability and safety are not always reliable. Particularly
with the complexities presented by the River Valley Slopes and Springs.
It is important, also, to note the silt build up in the ice pond at the base of the adjacent ravine. |

| There are two more planning meetings regarding the CODA proposed Areas Structure Plan - one on June 9 and one on June 18. We will keep you all posted as to what develops. | ||
